Minimum Educational Qualification:
The candidate must have completed a B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education), B.A.B.Ed./B.Sc.B.Ed., B.El.Ed., or D.El.Ed. with an undergraduate degree (with 50% marks in each).
The degree should be from an institution recognized by NCTE or a statutory body of the Government of India.
Minimum Marks Requirement:
Candidates must have secured at least 50% marks (or equivalent grade) in the qualifying examination (B.Ed or equivalent).
Relaxation of up to 5% in marks may be given to SC/ST/OBC/PwD and other reserved categories as per state/central government norms.
Entrance Exam:
Some universities and institutes may conduct an entrance examination or admission test for M.Ed admissions. Selection may also include interviews or merit-based shortlisting.
Age Limit:
There is no upper age limit for M.Ed admission as per NCTE guidelines, though individual institutions may specify their own criteria.
Reservation Policy:
Admissions are subject to the reservation policies of the respective state or central government and the affiliating university/institution.
