Internship programs are designed to provide students with valuable real-world experience in their chosen fields. At Slopeland College, internship programs play a crucial role in providing students with practical experience and industry exposure. These programs are designed to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world applications, helping students develop valuable skills and insights.
The internship programs at Slopeland College are diverse, catering to a wide range of interests and career paths. These internships are typically full-time commitments that last for a semester or more, allowing students to immerse themselves in their chosen field and gain hands-on experience.
During their internships, students are supervised by both college faculty and professionals in their field of study. This dual supervision ensures that students receive guidance and feedback from experts, helping them to develop their skills and knowledge.
For B.Ed Trainees, teaching practice- which is the other word of internship in Industries-is very much an important part of their curriculum. It is compulsory for a trainee to do teaching practice for more than 6 months out the total year’s courses. We send our trainees to the reputed schools in the district of Thoubal, Chandel, Kakching and Imphal for their Internship (Teaching Practice).
For BBA/BCA: We engage and expose our students in the real world of Industries by tying up with small and medium enterprise in Manipur. We also give selected number of students to take up internship programs at our in-house company i.e. Eastern Lily Pvt. Ltd.
We also put our plan of action in place to send our student outside of our state and abroad in the environment of cooperate world when they come in final year.
